Since Rafiki Technologies’ founding days in Calgary in 2005, it has grown to serve customers in Calgary, Red deer, Edmonton, interior BC, Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, and Burlington.
Rafiki Technologies’ founder, Naheed Shivji, traces his IT background to his education in the computer sciences and network support. As an entrepreneur, he brought to this new venture a solid background in technical support services and real-world work experience, having served in an IT consulting and technical support specialist capacity in such companies as Shaw, Telus, and Bell. His knowledge of coding was also a great asset to Rafiki Technologies, giving the company a more comprehensive edge in the IT sector.
In particular, Naheed began to gain a reputation for providing industry-leading IT support solutions for the hospitality industry. One of the critical lessons Naheed Shivji was able to leverage was experience working within tight budgets to help leading restaurants, hotels, and resorts get the most from their IT.
